 Get to meet us You can normally meet up with some of the core group at The Exmouth Arms in The Bath Road every Wednesday. This isn't a formal meeting, but more a chance for people to get together and chat about things. We welcome new people turning up and it's a great opportunity to talk to us about any ideas that you have. Sign up for our newsletter We produce a monthly newsletter that lets people know what is going on. This is automatically issued to all the members of our action groups, but if you don't yet want to join a group you can sign up by entering your email address into the box on the right. Join one of our action groups We currently have four action groups that you can join, each of which is run by a local resident who has offered to be the co-ordinator. You can see the four groups in the side panel. We have used something called a 'Ning' social networking forum for each group which allows everyone to easily communicate with each other. You have to sign in to each group (so that we can keep it secure), but once you are in you can join in discussions, post messages, hear about group events and offer your own ideas. If you want you can join more than one group (or all of them!) but you will need to sign in to each one separately. If you use the site a lot you can leave yourselves signed in and then you won't have to login every time. Ning is a free social networking platform and (although the signing in can be a bit of a hassle) we haven't found anything else that does the job as well (or as cheaply!) Click here to join a group |
