Initially founded by local resident Wendy Ellyatt in 2009, along with a wonderful
team of volunteers, Cheltenham Connect is a not-for-profit local community initiative which aims to promote a stronger community, a more resilient local economy and a better local environment in South Cheltenham.
We do this through:

- organising community events which enable people to get to know one another and have fun, from quizzes to Christmas activities
- organising events to support local businesses, including Laptop Friday co-working and the annual trade show Connect Business
- setting up and supporting projects to improve the area for the benefit of everyone who lives, works, shops and spends time there
- carrying out research into the history of the area.
Want to help?
We’re always looking for volunteers who can spare an hour or two from time to time to help with events, from setting up the room before a quiz to welcoming attendees to our annual business show. If you might be able to help and would like to find out more, please contact us for a chat.

Cheltenham Connect has been set up as an unincorporated membership association and is run entirely by local volunteers. You can see our constitution here:
