Initially founded by local resident Wendy Ellyatt in 2009, along with a wonderful team of volunteers, Cheltenham Connect is a not-for-profit local community initiative which aims to promote a stronger community, a more resilient local economy and a better local environment in South Cheltenham.
We do this through:
organising community events which enable people to get to know one another and have fun, from quizzes to Christmas activities
carrying out research into the history of the area.
Cheltenham Connect is focused on the areas of Leckhampton, Naunton Park, the Bath Road (south), the Suffolks, Tivoli and the Park, but anyone in Cheltenham can get involved in any of our activities. Read about our vision.
Want to help?
We’re always looking for volunteers who can spare an hour or two from time to time to help with events, from setting up the room before a quiz to welcoming attendees to our annual business show. If you might be able to help and would like to find out more, please contact us for a chat.
